Do you ever get discouraged that you’re not making as much progress towards your goals as you’d like?
When our will has to make every single decision it soon grows weary. We can help ourselves follow through on harder decisions by forming good habits we can do without much thought.
My kids and I learned a poem called, Little Things, a few years ago and the message has had a profound influence on me as a person, wife, and mom.
Little drops of water,
Little grains of sand,
Make the mighty ocean
And the pleasant land.
Small, consistent choices have a lasting impact–for good and bad!
Last December I created a way to track my long-term, habit-forming goals throughout the whole year.
Just yesterday, I reviewed my progress to see how much I accomplished in the past year.
I know every bubble isn’t filled in, but that’s okay…I was never going for perfection anyway! Instead, I was looking for a way to track just how much my daily choices would add up throughout an entire year.
This goals tracker was never intended to shame you for the day you missed, but to encourage you with all the days you made great choices. These small decisions add up and make a difference in our lives–let’s celebrate them!
I’ve made this yearly goals tracker available for you!
This goals tracker packet is available as a digital download from our Etsy shop and contains 8 PDF files for you to choose from.
The goal tracker packet contains:
There are options of full-sheets (8 goals) and half-sheets (4 goals and will fit in an A5 journal). You can also choose whether you want the first stanza of the poem as a header or you can leave it blank. Finally, you can choose to keep the months January (J) through December (D) or start anytime of year by using the numbered months (1=first month of goals).
Which options I use:
I use the full, 8-goals sheet for myself and for our family goals and my kids use the 4-goals sheet for their own personal goals. The half sheet is the perfect size to tape or glue into the front cover of a planner, journal, or notebook.
Get your own goals tracker
Once you’ve purchased the files, simply download and print the sheets you want to use. Then write down your goals and fill in the corresponding bubble each day.
Keep motivated and easily see when you need to refocus.
At the end of the year you can look back and see just how much you have accomplished!
Are you working toward any goals right now? What small steps could you do consistently to make a big difference within the next year? Go grab your copy of the goals tracker to help you out!
So excited to finalize mine for the new year! Thank you for this awesome resource.
I’m so excited it’s useful to you. I loved using it last year!
