For the month of October I’m joining hundreds of other bloggers as we accept The Nester’s 31 Day Writing Challenge. This is my third year participating and I’m excited to share with you about something that is such a huge part of my life right now.
Welcome to 31 Days of Learning with Little Ones aka Learning with Little Ones without Losing It. [tweetherder]Life is complicated enough already. Teaching little ones does not have to be.[/tweetherder]
If you’re new to my blog, here are some things I’d like you to know about me and my family:
- My kids are 7, 6, 4, 3, 14 months, and 6 weeks.
- I consider myself a parenting newbie, I still have a lot to learn.
- We’re in our third official year of homeschooling, but learning happens everyday whether you homeschool or not.
- I mess up every. single. day. on this parenting journey.
What to Expect:
- a post every day for the month of October
- simple ways to teach your kids
- a mix of academic learning, life skills, and character/faith lessons
- encouragement for parents in the thick of the little years
- free printables to use with your children
- some of our favorite early childhood resources
What NOT to Expect:
- one stop, cookie cutter solutions (every child is a unique learner)
- all the answers (remember, I’m still figuring out this parenting gig!)
- complicated steps and time consuming processes
