Are you looking for a way to keep your kids learning this summer? Why not try a plant & garden nature study? Even if you don’t have a green thumb, your family can learn a lot by observing the natural plant life around you.
Our family has been enjoying our time learning about plants and gardening together. We’ve been playing in the dirt and observing lots of plant (& animal) life in our vegetable garden. We’re having fun recording our observations and making lots of garden notes. We’re also reading a lot of great books about plants and gardening.
Here are some activities we’ve enjoyed so far:
Creating a Plant & Garden Nature Study Binder (and what to put in it)
Plant & Garden Book List for Children (over 25 book summaries & reviews)
