Creating & Finished Friday #85

For as long as I can remember, I’ve enjoyed making things myself. I’ve always felt a sense of satisfaction when I create something. I especially love the challenge of making things from scratch that most people buy at the store and making things pretty on a budget. Maybe that’s why I enjoy making our own toothpaste and deodorant and altering my little girls’ clothes.

Do you also love to make things yourself? Do you enjoy trying new recipes, or decorating your home with thrift store finds? Do you sew clothes for your little ones or their dolls? Do you find yourself repainting rooms in your home or designing scrapbook pages? Maybe your creativity comes out as words on a page or beautiful photos capturing special moments in your life?

If you’re looking for some make-it-yourself inspiration or simply tried-and-true techniques and recipes, you’ll definitely want to check out the Ultimate Homemaking eBook Bundle (available through Saturday only)! This huge bundle of 97 eBooks is bursting with books to inspire your creativity.

This week’s featured posts…

:: Danielle showed us the pillowcase dress she made for a crafting for a cause project. What a great way to enjoy some creativity and give back! Have you ever participated in a crafting for a cause challenge?

:: Jodie shared her recipe for Easy Granola Bites in 20 minutes. This sounds like a great recipe to make with little ones, there’s even a handy, dandy video you can watch with your kiddos.

:: and last but not least, Lauren gave us a glimpse of her adorable new spring wreath. Have you updated your wreath for spring? I’ve yet to add a wreath to the new house at all…maybe once I get finished unpacking, but by then I’ll probably have a little more pressing matters…like a new baby :) Anyone want to deliver a new spring wreath to my bare door?

We will be featuring the most popular and our favorite links at the next link-up and on the Finished Friday Pinterest Board. Would you like to participate?
