Our family has been anxiously awaiting the release of the newest What’s in the Bible? DVD. These DVDs are an awesome way to help walk your children through the entire Bible.

Our children, as well as the children in our small Bible study, have learned so much from Phil Vischer and his puppet friends! And we’re not just talking about biblical facts, but also deep theological truths.

What’s in the Bible? Volume 10: Jesus is the Good News is the first DVD that steps into the New Testament covering the four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John as well as the 400 years between the Old Testament and the New Testament.

As with all of the What’s in the Bible? DVDs, Volume 10 comes with a coloring page identical to the cover of the DVD as well as a Family Discussion Guide and free digital copy of the DVD.

Our children loved this latest addition to our What’s in the Bible? collection. As usual they love the songs and have been singing them around the house since the first time we watched the DVD. Our 4 and 5 year old have also brought up concepts from this DVD several times, so like all the What’s in the Bible? DVDs it’s a great conversation starter.

What I absolutely loved about this DVD was that Phil Vischer purposefully slowed down the story to allow our kids to experience the emotion of Jesus’ sacrifice and allow them time to make the connection in their heart of what Jesus did for them.

During the section of Jesus death and resurrection all of our kids left their seats on the couch and stood right in front of the computer. There were actual cheers when Jesus rose from the dead!
