As we near the middle of November, my Twelve Days of Christmas planning is underway!
Last year, I began a tradition of blessing my husband, Tim, with gifts during the 12 days leading up to Christmas day.
I know that the Twelve Days of Christmas technically occur after Christmas, but the purpose of our tradition is so I can stop in the busyness and take time to let my husband know he’s still the most important person in the world to me.
Tim loved this new tradition last year and I’m excited to find new ways to bless him this Christmas season.
Would you like to add a little holiday spice to your marriage and purposefully bless your husband with gifts this year?
The 12 Days of Christmas: Blessing Your Husband Basics
:: begins December 13th and runs through Christmas Eve (December 24th)
:: each day you’ll give your husband a gift or gifts that correspond to the 12 Days of Christmas…day one is one gift, day two is two gifts, etc.
Won’t This Cost a Whole Lot?
No, it doesn’t have to.
Of course you could spend a fortune on this tradition, after all you’ll be giving your husband a total of 78 presents, but you can easily bless your husband through the Twelve Days of Christmas on a very small budget.
Last year I managed to surprise my husband for 12 days straight for under $15!
Get creative and add in some homemade gifts or “coupons” to help stretch your Twelve Days of Christmas budget.
Last year we shared a couple of free printables to help you start your own Twelve Days of Christmas tradition.
