I can’t believe it’s already Friday again! This past week went by quickly since we were packing to evacuate our townhouse and bunker down with friends. Thankfully, our area was spared major damage and we we’re able to lug all of our things back home on Tuesday.
Please, continue to keep all those who were affected by Hurricane Sandy in your thoughts and prayers.
We finished up our 31 Days of Busy Bags & Quiet Time Activities Series (although we still have lots of ideas to share).

This week’s featured posts…
With our daughter in Kindergarten I’m always on the lookout for a fun teaching reading activity. This sight words activity from Life with Moore Babies is just perfect.
I also love the sandpaper and yarn activity shares by Hey Mommy, Chocoloate Milk. The same activity could also be adapted for numbers and shapes, too.
Becoming a parent can really change your perspective. I love how Jacquelyn describes how her daughter helped change the way she see the world (and strangers).
We will be featuring the most popular and our favorite links at the next link-up and on the Finished Friday Pinterest Board. Would you like to participate?

I’ve had a million project ideas in my head this week, but I kept getting distracted trying to decide what to do. I’d start one and then move to another and never finish anything. I decided to make a priority list. Today, I finished hemming a skirt. Then I need to finish the set of Christmas ornaments I’m making. Then I have two different school activities for the little ones I need to make. This weekend, though, I’ll probably put that list aside and make cookies for an event we’re attending on Sunday…and help Brian with the yard clean up.
