Quiet Time Tuesday (Part of the 31 Days of Busy Bags & Quiet Time Activities @ AllOurDays.com)Welcome to another edition of Quiet Time Tuesday, a place where we share ideas for implementing a quiet time with your child after they outgrow their need for a nap.

Last week we shared how we used quiet time bins to help our 5-year-old (and sometimes her 4-year-old brother) play quietly and independently for an extended time every afternoon.

This week, we’re sending you over to Toddler Approved to read Kristina’s ideas about quiet time.

I love how Kristina walked her son through his list of possible quiet time choices and how she increased his ability to play independently by offering suggestions of different ways he could use his toys.

Head on over to read Kristina’s post on Establishing a Quiet Time…When Your Child Stops Napping. (And let her know you came from All Our Days.)

Do you have a quiet time in your home? What quiet time activities do your children enjoy the most?

Awesome! I’m always looking for quiet times ideas, as my son is already starting to wean himself off naps. Off to check out Kristina’s post… And, I’ll be back to look back at past Quiet Time Tuesday posts!
